Community Conversation Circle information sharing event

Wednesday the 27th of January, the Tacoma Public Schools and the Tacoma UniServ Council will be hosting all interested parties in a meeting to discuss the results of the five community conversation circle events held in between November 5th and December 16th 2009. 


The evening event will begin at 5:30 and conclude by 7:00 at the Creighton Scouting Headquarters located at 4802 South 19th Street. As always, food and childcare will be provided.


We are pleased by the number of employees, parents, community members and organizations that participated. The extensive and diverse input has provided us with rich comments on the topics discussed during the process. We look forward to sharing with everyone the general trends and themes surfaced during the conversations. Further, we will be prioritizing the suggestions made to the question, “What can all of us (the employees, the union, the administration and the parents and community members) do together to improve the chances for children and the district achieve their dreams for public education?”


Please join us as we begin the exciting process of working together to make the dreams a reality.
